A quotable quote, a little witticism, a cliché written by Ms. Trite.
She's been writing these for years and I figured it was time to share them here.
I don’t write to be famous, I don’t write to be known, I write because I am and I want to be read. How sad to fill a room with paintings no one sees or play music no one hears. Writing is talking without sound, singing without score and dancing without movement and yet, it is all of them. It is a solitary art conjured from thought and expressed by the need to communicate.
HEAD SLAPS, SPEED BUMPS and LIGHTBULBS, one woman's WTF, oops and ah-ha moments of life.
They were published once, and as every writer knows, once is not enough.
This got me worried so I called your house at 7:10 a.m.! Bob answered. I thought the work thing you mentioned was either really good or something awful! Dang.
ReplyDeleteWell Patty, it's a little of both. The coordinators have to be at work at 7am. I hate the flip in hours but LOVE getting home early. And, we have to have full availability, which means Sundays. It's all about change and you know how I love change, ugh.
DeleteI just throw the whole lemon. ;-)
ReplyDeleteAnd if it is moldy and rotten, all the better.
DeleteLord, no. I'm too much of a believer in karma spitting them back at me. :)
ReplyDeleteOh Donna, I am soooo a believer in karma. Funny you should mention this because one of my columns this month was about karma.
DeleteHere's the link. You'll have to copy and paste. Where's Colin when you need him.
