I don’t write to be famous, I don’t write to be known, I write because I am and I want to be read. How sad to fill a room with paintings no one sees or play music no one hears. Writing is talking without sound, singing without score and dancing without movement and yet, it is all of them. It is a solitary art conjured from thought and expressed by the need to communicate.

HEAD SLAPS, SPEED BUMPS and LIGHTBULBS, one woman's WTF, oops and ah-ha moments of life.

They were published once, and as every writer knows, once is not enough.

Scoop

Where's my crumbled brownie?
Splint's off and both hands are sharing the writing load.
I'm not yet up to speed, as they say, but I am able to devote time to my WIP which I have missed terribly. My mind has been racing far ahead of my ability.
I am so grateful for the physical back-up systems provided by our creator. Our bodies are amazing machines; give them time, treat them well, respect limitations and adjust. That's my mantra now. Vanilla ice cream sprinkled with crumbled brownies helps too. Funny how I can't write left handed but I can scoop as a lefty.
What treat makes you feel better?
